Melanie Glover, MD

Dr. Glover is originally from Greenville, KY. She received her undergraduate degree in mathematics and biology from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY, and went on to earn her medical degree at the University Of Kentucky College Of Medicine.

Dr. Glover completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and her Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, OH. While in fellowship her areas of research included proteomic markers for preterm labor and maternal psycho-social stressors in pregnancy. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and board certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Glover’s areas of interest include critical care obstetrics, fetal therapy, and psychosocial complications of pregnancy, including substance dependence. She continues to be active in resident education as volunteer faculty at Wright State University. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Department of OB/GYN at Miami Valley Hospital, and is a board member of Premier Health Group. These appointments have led to several memberships and chair appointments in hospital and board committees, with a focus on quality improvement initiatives in women’s health at Miami Valley Hospital.

Dr. Glover and her husband have two children and reside in Bellbrook, OH. Her outside interests include being a band mom, boating, gardening, and various other outdoor pursuits.
