Christopher Croom, MD

Dr. Croom is originally from Charleston, S.C. He received his undergraduate degree from The Citadel. He attended The Medical University of S.C., where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Anatomy and a Doctorate in Medicine.

Dr. Croom completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA. He did his fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA.
Dr. Croom is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. His areas of interest are the treatment of substance use disorders in pregnancy, prevention and treatment of premature labor, autoimmune diseases in pregnancy and resident education.

Dr. Croom is currently on faculty at Wright State University and serves as Medical Director Promise to Hope, a Miami Valley Hospital program for opiate addicted mothers and serves on the board of the Fetal Medicine Foundation USA.

Dr. Croom and his wife have five children and reside in Oakwood, OH. His outside interests include running, cycling, rock and roll, the Atlanta Braves and OSU football.
