We do all we can to provide assistance for families throughout their journey.
At the Fetal to Newborn Care Center, we know you may need support in addition to your medical care. We do all we can to provide assistance for families throughout their journey with a high-risk pregnancy. We offer many programs to help you through this challenging time:
The Family Resource Center at Dayton Children’s
The Family Resource Center at Dayton Children’s offers information and support for families. As a free-lending library, the center has a collection of books, reference materials, brochures, DVDs and internet-based resources available to you. The center staff will help you find information regarding fetal conditions, as well as parenting information and community resources.
Ronald McDonald House Charities
The Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is a place for parents and families of the Fetal to Newborn Care Center both Miami Valley Hospital and Dayton Children’s Hospital to take a break from the hospital while remaining available for their child at a moment’s notice. The Ronald McDonald House Charities is available as a home away from home when a child is facing hospitalization.
Perinatal Palliative Care
This service is offered to families who face the possible loss of their pregnancy. We’ll help you review and understand your medical decisions, explore the pathways that lie ahead, and will offer counseling and/or pastoral care to ensure you have a safe environment to share your feelings during this difficult time.
